Norcross (Otis) is born in the North End.
November 2, 1811
Otis Norcross graduates from English High School and became a partner in the family crockery business. He serves on the School Committee, as chairman of the Board of Aldermen, on the Governor’s Council, and as mayor of Boston (1867). Norcross lives initially in the West End, and subsequently moves to 249 Marlborough Street. He dies on September 5, 1882.
